She is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. She obtained PhD in “Natural Product Chemistry” from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia in 2014. She Served as Post Doctorate fellow in “Food and Medicinal Chemistry” at the Department of Food and Nutrition, Chosun University, South Korea (2015-2016). She authored more than 75 research articles published in SCI International Journals with cumulative impact factor of greater than 200 with H-index 19. She is an Academic Editor of South Asian Journal of Natural Products, Reviewer in several well reputed International SCI Journals. She received Research Projects awarded: One Start UP Research Grant Program (SRGP-2018), One National Research Program for Universities (NRPU for 2019-2022), Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Research Grants (SBBWURG). She participated as a presenter in several International and National Conferences.
